Parents Teachers Association

GIS Monza is a school with a family atmosphere and we strongly believe in an open door policy and regular communication between families and GIS staff/leadership.

In order to facilitate communication and ensure that topics are communicated to the GIS community, we have a parent and teacher association.

The role of the PTA

to support the implementation of the GIS Vision and Values through the development of a strong sense of community in the school.
to facilitate constructive two-way communication between families and the school.
to share feedback from parents regarding the educational programme in its widest sense, promoting parental involvement in school life and suggesting ways that GIS services can be enhanced.
to discuss with GIS leadership regarding future planning offering feedback if requested on ideas that the school is considering prior to their implementation.
to present the school’s goals and vision to parents in a constructive way that promotes parental engagement and agency.
to organise and support activities that enhance family participation in school life
to assist in the promotion of GIS in the wider community in Monza.
to support new families as they relocate to Monza and settle into school life

In the new school year, GIS holds elections for the Parent representatives for each class.
